Interesting and disappointing. The region free Imprint release only has a LPCM 2.0 stereo track so that has to be the OG audio. Criterion has really been slipping with this for some time.

Often it's based on the director's choice. Franklin was involved wiith the release.

Criterion’s revenge for all the 4Ks Kino acquired of their MGM Blu-ray releases. They probably have 4K rights to The Lady from Shanghai too
