When Do Your Amazon.com Pre-Orders Ship? - Blu-ray Forum

Looking to pre-order a couple of 4K UHD titles from the US with Amazon.com - have used them quite a bit over the years however I've never pre-ordered titles with them.

I know they don't ship early but is it usually on releases day to the UK?

Amazon.com usually ship on release day or possibly on very rare occasions the night before (happened to me twice out of all the times I ordered). I tend to pre order a lot from them.

Most for me are a day or two before. I emailed once after a preorder failed to ship on release day & they bumped me to priority express deliver (which is 2 Day Delivery to Ireland).

Everyone I've had has shipped on the Tuesday of release week, so release day with the US.

You might want to consider WowHD instead, they will ship 4-5 days before release, postage is included and no customs worries.

I have used WOW HD a few times and nearly every disc arrived with damaged boxes so I give them a wide birth from now on.

The corrugated cardboard packaging offered very little protection.

sounds like you are just unlucky as in the many orders i've had from WOWHD i've never once had a damaged case.i agree their packaging could be better
