I saw the movie in theatres and I was extremely impressed. One of the best movies I've seen this year.

That's pretty high praise. I also meant to catch it in the theatre but sadly being a canadian film, it didn't have too long of a run i believe. Will take a look at it when it hits BD.

Amazon.ca has a pre-order up with release date of January 26, 2016. Just checked out the trailer...will definitely blind buy this.

Finally watched the movie this week. I didn't really take to it. It was a step up from Gross' Passchendaele, but was loaded with bad acting (and especially over-acting), and still this odd/cheap flavour of a Canandian film production. Why is it that Canada produces some true filmmaking talent in Quebec (such as Jean Marc Vallee, Denis Villeneuve & Javier Dolan), but the remainder of Canada has to rely on only Paul Gross? haha
