AMC's "The Night Manager" (2016 Event Series) - Blu-ray Forum

Originally on the BBC, AMC brings this 6 part series to the US on April 19th.

I went to a preview screening of the first episode and some of the second last night, along with a cast Q&A afterwards. This show grabs you immediately. The hour felt like a film, amazing production quality and solid acting from everyone. Shot on location in Morocco, Switzerland, Cairo and London. I see this racking up plenty of nominations during the awards season.

Binged this last Monday; entertaining show with decent performances in it. Wasn't really impressed with Laurie though. Reviews were praising his 'villainous' performance but he didn't come across menacing at all; just another white-collar criminal, really.

It's not airing until the 19th on AMC Channel in the US for most of us but i guess it released early somewhere for a few people at least not sure where though.

It has already aired in the UK and in parts of Europe.

Just to make sure, the AMC version isn't "edited" for content in any way is it?

I watched it. The first episode was the best and the others never really lived up to it. It relied mostly on fine cinematography and nudity... which is all anyone should ever rely on.

Was there any nudity or sex scenes on the AMC, there was some brief nudity/sex scene on the BBC

I really enjoyed this series! This to me was the ultimate proof (or audition) that Tom Hiddelston COULD be the next James Bond. A more suave Bond than Craig, but still, they would just need to tailor the new movie to his more 'classy' style

Hiddleston and Laurie are reason enough to check it out. Really did enjoy it. Ending was expected but still good!

the BD will be uncensored I think.

I liked the show, but I expected a little more action than there was, this was more along the lines of a thriller.

I think the first episode was the best. It got a bit slow and "movie of the week" in the middle but wrapped it up fairly well. It just never got back up to the level of that first episode.

I agree with above that it is a good audition for Hiddleston as Bond. I could see it now.
