Ok, don't get me wrong. I love the fact that this show is available on Blu-ray. I know that it is an accomplishment that a studio is sticking with putting their TV shows out on Blu-ray.
But I find it a little absurd that they can't stay consistent in their releases. Hell on Wheels is one of the very few releases that the slipcover has different art than the sleeve art included in the case. Now, Season 4 is released and there is no slipcover? Oh, well. I am happy to have it and I will look forward to Season 5 part 1 and part 2 when they are released on Blu-ray as well. http://www.amazon.com/Hell-Wheels-Se...9303367&sr=1-2 |

Yeah also disappointed in the lack of slipcover - the first three were really well done.

According to this post, Best Buy copies have the slip. My copy from Amazon did not.

Honestly, I chalk it up to someone who maybe overlooked the fact that it had a slip cover or not, or they were looking at the wrong season. Again, I highly doubt EOne would go to the trouble of making a Best Buy with slip cover exclusive. I will believe it when I see it, but I am not holding my breath that a slip exists for Season 4. |

Does anyone know the story on the Season 5 bluray release? Some sites say, "complete fifth season," but the artwork here and on Amazon says Season 5 Volume 1 (and this is for the US release. Australia already released Season 5 Volume 1 on bluray)

My guess would be there will be a S5 part1, and a S5 part2 BD release. I hope I'm wrong, as I'm not a big fan of AMC splitting their seasons when they air and then have that carry over to the home video release.

I hope they don't split them, but of course they might. I guess we just have to wait and see, I'm sure confirmation will come eventually. |

While it is an educated guess, I would assume they would simply use the already "transferred and coded" discs from the season releases for the entire series release... Mhp68 has confirmed that this is the case. (posted in this thread 2-3 posts above this one). To lend credence to my prediction, here in Australia, I own S1-S5v1. I haven't gone back to check S1&2 (pre-Region A capability), but S3-5pt1 are locked definitely locked to B. Notably, we got releases in Australia before the US for the majority of seasons. ![]() EOne has a habit of locking releases to the country of origin (has happened with all The Walking Dead releases in Australia) and as I can recall, most other Hopscotch or EOne releases I own. I am waiting for S5Vol2 to finally get released in Australia. Might hold out a little longer, but will import if no news by February 2017. Would like to complete the collection with all Aussie releases, but if EOne sits on this one for too much longer I will import the US S5Pt2 release. Which I can only assume is A locked... US S5(2) might be region free, if EOne never had plans to do a BD release in Australia: And will do DVD only. ![]() My advice, join the rebellion and get a Multi-Region or Region A player. ![]() |

They have announced the last season for release on blu ray in Aus now. I think coming in Feb. so I think I will just get all seasons individually as Aus releases locally, only problem is the price... works out quite expensive to get all of them even with sale on at JB Hifi. Hopefully they will reduce the price of them at some point.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

****ing bullshit. Either air the whole season or call it 2 seasons. I'm tired of this silly part 1 and 2 of the same season bullshit from AMC. Now I'm supposed to pay $30 for HALF a season when other complete seasons ran that much?
