Amazon Prime Day 2016

Amazon Prime Day 2016 is next week (July 12th 2016) and I wanted to know what deals everyone is expecting and hoping for?

Personally I'm holding out hope that the Star Trek 4K releases get a slight dip in price and also maybe a criterion movie I've had my eye on for a while. What about everyone else?

After the flop that was last years Prime Day, I'm really not expecting much blu-ray wise. I'm hoping they surprise me with some good deals though.

Yeah last year was a bust. That's why i'm holding out hope.. lol I know the stuff I want probably won't get any discount but a man can dream right?

Really hoping for that Sons of Anarchy Set to be at a reasonable price.

Last year I only picked up the Breaking Bad Barrel which was, in my opinion, a good deal at 86.99$.... especially since I sold the code for 35$(USD).

I'm waiting on what the US Prime has.. not looking at spending much of anything though.. I recall it being pretty crap US and CA last year..

Last year the only thing I got was the Cheers DVD set. Not even a bluray deal, but I've enjoyed watching it regardless.

Well, to be honest with you, I know most of the Canadian threads in the Hot Deals section as they identify themselves as CA in the thread title or are stores only in the northernmost section of America and I ignore that they are on the main page when looking at Hot deals. There is no flags or anything to show it is not a US thread. I reread the OP and there is no mention of Canada...as well as no HOT DEAL. I explained why I read the thread and suggested where it belongs, but maybe wasn't specific enough. Maybe I'll buy some when I am in Victoria.

Pretty cold deal considering you can get it from Amazon UK currently for $61 and change. You could have also gotten it for $66 from Amazon UK last November and this May/June. The price on Amazon UK was actually less back then but it works out better now as the pound is weaker.

Yea good find but I'm assuming Amazon UK will be shipping to Canada Post and if they go on strike, it could be a long time to get your order. Plus the Collector's edition packaging is a lot nicer than the flimsy packaging that Amazon UK has.

The UK set comes in 2 thick amaray cases. Way better then the NA set which is awkward to display and you don't have to worry about scratching the discs every time you take it out of the sleeve which is the case in the NA set.
