I think after about 200, you're kinda just listing films that are good as opposed to films that are your favourite. But it's a pretty stellar list overall.

After about 20 you're starting to dig really deep. 1000 films? Favorites? Nah. Thats crap.

Only got to 800 something then it stopped responding. Quite similar to mine, except he didn't list Casablanca, Predator, Good Will Hunting.

The guy likes breathless better than the original, not that it's bad to like something but the way he defended it to me was odd

I'm surprised that John Ford is largely ignored on this list, save for The Grapes of Wrath and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. Also surprised a lot of the early Bond films are left out. Still a great list, though.

1000 films? Screw that. That is way too large of a list. No way you can have 1000 favorites. I'd be more interested in a top 50 or so in order.

They've got a lovely mix of cineaste and movie fan. It's a blend most people should aspire for.

The big question is how many of those do we need on Blu-ray?

But it's not a ranking its a random list, it does not commit to a favourite
