Overview
A fortuitious turn of events orchestrates an opportunity for aspiring composer Anna Holtz (Diane Kruger, Anything For Her, Inglorious Basterds) to work beside the greatest artist alive: Ludwig van Beethoven. Told in flashback, Copying Beethoven centres on the last years of Beethoven´s life - a turbulent period in which his personal struggles stimulated arguably the greatest symphony ever written, his astonishing Ninth. Featuring a soaring score, the film is driven by a towering performance from four-time Academy Award® nominee Ed Harris (A History of Violence) in the title role.
