Still waiting for a western release of Turbo Outrun and a stand alone release for Powerdrift...

I don't understand why they haven't made Powerdrift available in the eShop. I really want this but I don't want to buy the physical release of Sega 3D Classics Collection just for Powerdrift, I already bought most of those games in the eShop.

And don't get me started on Turbo Outrun, how much fun would that be playing it on the 3DS? Industry politics... *sigh*.

Yes.

Overall it's fun but I prefer Outrun. I haven't played it that much to be honest. It looks and plays in an authentic old school way with some nice 80s inspired tunes to drive to. Gameplay is a bit crude so to speak. It can get frustrating at times when you accidentally bump into something. That will almost certainly make sure you'll lose the race.

I would only recommend it if you're truly fiending for some old school arcade racing.

it looks just like a rehash of Outrun to me.
Saying that I have a few different releases of Out Run, so might be interested in this if the roads are significanty different. I get a bit fed up of modern racing games where it's all laps, I prefer roads with an end to reach.
