Saw the trailer this morning, looks good. Never got to play the original and was hoping for a PS4 remastered version, but wasn't expecting a sequel announcement.... for this year.

Yeah I can't say that I am. Did not play the first one, and I'm not big on JRPGs outside of Dragon Quest.

Soul Hackers 2 looks like it doesn't have much to do with the original, it looks like a mix of Persona and Tokyo Mirage Session.

I'm of course looking forward for a new Atlus jrpg, but it would've been more excited if we got a new game with a depressing 90's cyberpunk tone

anyway, check the ps5 section for a slightly more active thread

Old school cyberpunk style would have been nice but it is a miracle that the game got made at all.

I am hoping it opens up the doors for new SMT spin off games and bringing back Digital Devil saga and Raidou.

Love the ability to send demons to scout dungeons and when you find them they give you items, heal you, get a local demon to join you, etc.

Looks like there slots for comps(weapons) and wardrobe(armor) but no accessory slot.

I see we have the dub voices, not that I care if I have the Japanese language option, but I do know a lot of people care about dubs.
