I got Harry Potter 3/4 from my sisters. Both were ordered from Amazon and came beat the hell up. The cases for each were different as well, one being a darker shade of blue than the other, and one having the reflective "Blu-Ray Disc" insignia while the other the muted one.

Seriously, what's up with Warner's QC? Everything I order from Amazon comes pristine, except for these. The clear plastic that holds in the cover sheet on one was all wavy, looking as if it had been melted, and both cases were very scratched up. When I picked up OotP from BB a week ago, it was almost impossible to find an okay copy, and the one I finally did pick up after a few minutes of digging turned out to be pretty scratched after I took off the wrapper anyhow. The same happened with 300 a couple of months ago.

Okay, now that that rant is off my chest, I'll move on to the other goodies I've gotten so far: a $20 gift card to Barnes & Nobles and the Wii Zapper (Link's Crossbow Training ftw!)

I'll probably get a bunch of Best Buy gift cards from the extended family later tonight.

Also, the new HDTV I convinced my parents to buy a few weeks ago is considered the "family" present, particularly my present, so I'm not really getting anything from them. Hey, for a 52" XBR4, it was definitely worth it. :P

And I bought myself Dark Tranquillity's "Fiction" album.

My advice - return FEAR for either Resistance: Fall of Man or Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. FEAR is a shoddy pc port that is buggy as hell. The PC version, however, kicks major ass.

I had five more Blu's arrive yesterday in the mail, so now I'm at 100!

I need to thank the BOGOs and the studios and amazon and J&R and Frys and DeepDiscount for all the many sales that allowed this to occur.

I never figured I'd make it to 100 this year, let alone by Christmas Eve, when I joined this forum back in September. So, while the format war allowed our individual collections to grow at a rapid rate, I'm sure all of us will be just as thrilled when the war is over and we can set our sights on killing off SD!

And, as I said in another post, we're having quite a white Christmas here in Denver. It's snowing quite extensively and has been for a few hours already.
