Due for release on the 24th of December 2025:

The Fantastic Four: First Steps 4K + 3D Blu-ray Steelbook

The Fantastic Four: First Steps 4K + 3D w/ pin badges Blu-ray Steelbook

The Fantastic Four: First Steps 4K + 3D w/ mug Blu-ray Steelbook

The Fantastic Four: First Steps 4K + 3D w/ STUFF Blu-ray Steelbook

Moderator note: The Fantastic Four: First Steps is only being released on 3D Blu-ray in Japan, in a combo pack with the 4K disc and a 2D Blu-ray. The discs include English audio and optional subtitles for the film - you will need to switch these on and off manually for the non-English language scene as there is no separate subtitle track for just this dialogue alone. Despite being marked as Region A, all of the discs in the set are expected to be REGION FREE. Similarly, all discs are expected to have a letterbox aspect ratio with no expanded aspect ratio IMAX scenes. Amazon Japan have an exclusive SteelBook and variety of tat as usual, but will only deliver to a Japanese address (see note in red below). All other disc releases worldwide are flat.

Happinet (the distributor for Amazon Japan) is currently not allowing international orders for this item and many others from Amazon Japan. This is likely to continue indefinitely so unless you have a Japanese address you will need to use a reshipper (e.g buyee or Tenso) if you want any of the Amazon exclusive editions. This will add additional costs.

Unlike the SteelBook, the standard edition is not Amazon exclusive so can be bought from other retailers (e.g. HMV Japan or AmiAmi). HMV Japan use WorldShopping as a reshipper so make sure to decline this option if they deliver direct to your country (e.g. the UK) if you want to avoid additional costs. At the moment HMV and AmiAmi are not delivering to the USA, this is only temporary but there is no indication when deliveries will resume. See the Importing and Delivery Issues thread for more information.

YesAsia is another popular option though they tend to have limited pre-order stock and links go live a lot later than other retailers. Wherever you buy, please be sure to note the cancellation and shipping policies especially the ones specific to your country.

Original post:
Ok, there does not seem to be a thread for the 3D release of Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is coming out about a year from now.

Considering how consistent Marvel has been with the 3D releases, I think it's a foregone conclusion FFFS will be given a 3D release and also shown in 3D IMAX.

There's been some footage shared online unofficially, but the studio has not yet released an official trailer or teaser.

Given what's been shown at SDCC, this could really look amazing in 3D, the Fantastic Four will reportedly have a flying car and... well, I mean, Mr. Stretch, right? If these things don't offer great opportunities for incredibly immersive 3D, I don't know what would...
