Default Collecting Directors on 4K UHD

One way I like to organise my collection which I’m sure is the case for a lot of people is by director. There are threads in the Blu-ray forum going by director or actor, but unfortunately on 4K the selection is often far smaller, even with some of the greatest directors out there. A director can easily go from a film on 4K to their next film with a different studio or a smaller box office not receiving the treatment, leaving gaps on people’s shelves. An example is Moonlight (4K UHD) to If Beale Street Could Talk (BD). Hopefully this will help people organise their collection or see what gaps they have.

No, I do format and alphabetical and also a separate section for boutique labels like Criterion, Masters of Cinema and Arrow. My animation and music (not musical) sections are mixed format, though. Actually, my boutique section isn't even alphabetized anymore.

It's a shame we probably won't ever get all his movies on Ultra HD Blu-ray due to Disney owning War Horse, Lincoln, Bridge of Spies and The BFG.

It would make a lot of sense for Disney to trade their DreamWorks titles to Universal but I doubt they would.

I really hope we will get more soon...While Crimson Peak is a 2K DI, but the early films could be restored to 4K.
