Exclamation Gunhed

In 2039, a group of treasure hunters came to Volcanic Island 8JO in search of a valuable computer chip. Chiron 5, a giant computer that wages a final war against humanity and then ceases to operate, was enshrined on the island. Knowing that Chiron 5 is about to start the final war again, they remodel the battle robot "Gunhead" sleeping in the robot graveyard and dare to fight!

Called "the world's first SFX robot movie," "Gunhed," which attracts many fans, has been released on Blu-ray. The bonus disc is a favorite version that includes the TV version broadcast in 1992 and rare images such as the PV "Gunhed 2025" of the plastic kit that Koichi Kawakita, the special effects director of this work, took a megaphone.

Before this has only been available on LD and DVD, but there is a recent bluray release from Japan. The movie is mostly in English but some part in Japanese. The bluray from Japan doesnt have subtitles. I wish that a boutique studio would release this with extras.
