Default n00b question about Warhawk & Virtua Fighter

So I see Warhawk for PS3 and Virtua Fighter 5 (2 different versions) for sale on the PSN.

Just got the PS3 and still figuring this all out... but is there any difference between the Warhawk on PSN for $40 and the one I can buy on Amazon for the same price (and re-sell later, as opposed to the PSN version, which I cannot)? Is a headset required?

Also, what's the difference between the two VF5 games? Is the $30 one the same as the $20 one, just with online play added? And again... any difference between the one on Amazon for $30?

Thanks in advance.

Thats Tekken you are referring to, not Virtua Fighter 5. The 20 dollar one has no online play, the 30 dollar one does.

As for warhawk...

The download option runs ONLY on the user account who paid to download it.
You can't use it on any other accounts on your PS3.

The disc version is playable on any account or PS3 (obviously).
It will install the entire game on the PS3 hard drive, *hint* once the game has been 'ran' you can remove the disc and it will continue to work forever until you quit the game.
The disc has a few 'movie' clips of other games, but nothing to write home about.

I would buy the disc version with the headset. When your on a team who communicate it's great having one also. And for the price the disc/headset is an absolute steal! I've logged over 1,200 games of warhawk so that should tell you how addictive it is.

yep, as said above, if you don't have the Headset, it's best to buy the CD version with the bluetooth Headset, it's quite frustrating not to answer people/friends when you play and they talk to you =)
(I decided to DL the PS Store version and then bought a separate Headset myself, costs more but I'm not unhappy with)

The Blu-ray version will allow you to do LAN parties as well .. it's just more flexible overall. The only downside is if you lose or damage the disk you lose the game whereas the PSN version is "forever". The license restrictions were NOT worth it for the PSN since we have multiple people using the PS3...if you want to allow multiple accounts access in the future the disc is your "only" choice.

P.S. I myself have two accounts setup for different personas on-line...something to consider as well since the PSN is free.
