Probably the worse BD we have seen so far. A stark contrast of Stargate. In some low light seens the noise was incredible. Most of the disc was not sharp at all. Decent movie though.

This movie had two things going against it. First, it was a low budget film (an estimated $6.5M production budget). Second, the film was shot using Super 35 film, which is inherently grainy. When you take those two things into consideration, this Blu-ray is excellent.

I figured it was lo-budget but some scenes looked pretty good and others looked down right scary. Some low light seens were clean and others were filled with noise (not grain).

I'll buy it soon enough, as I really enjoyed the movie, but I was a little disappointed to see no lossless audio track on there.
Looks like Lionsgate is making up for it with the LPCM 6.1 release of The Descent though.
