I first saw BOC back in 77, caught the 40th anniversary show of the original lineup in 2012, and last saw them a year ago. Still an exceptional live band, I heard a new studio album is in the works.

interesting. Kasim is awesome. Too bad Alan isn't here to do this. My soon to be wife's (I mean soon to be at the time, been married 35+) first rock concert was when I took her to see BOC in Denver on the Club Ninja tour.

My 2nd concert ever was BOC & Rainbow in '83. Since then I've likely seem them 10 times with the last time being a few months back. They're still a great live band. Looking forward to getting this!

Watching this now. Kind of an odd disc. The show starts with no kind of introduction, and for the duration of the first two songs there's absolutely no crowd noise, no shots of the crowd. At the end of "Reaper", the camera pulls back just a bit to reveal a few fans applauding, & a smattering of noise. With a big screen and a good sound system, it's almost like having the band in your living room for a private show. PQ/AQ is fantastic, well worth the $7.68 I paid for it! If you like classic rock, this is a no-brainer to add to the collection.

Watching it now as well. Nice they have Albert Bouchard back for this. Agree that PQ/AQ is great! And Buck's playing is great as always.

I preordered it on Feb 22 from amazon and I am still waiting for it.

I went ahead and preordered another BOC title from amazon
iHeart Radio Theater N.Y.C. 2012 Blu-ray coming out June 12. Hopefully I get this one

The best live show I have ever seen (1978). The laser show was religious. They made it illegal to shine lasers directly into a crowd the next day. They shot lasers off giant mirror balls so the entire arena was filled with short segments of laser light. Then they extended planes of laser light horizontally and vertically to form a square tunnel and moved that back and forth. This went on forever for the song Godzilla. I will always remember that concert. The music wasn't bad either Here is some vinyl from my collection in honor of a truly great classic rock band.

Yes, Albert Bouchard was the drummer during this concert. Someone deleted their reply before I had a chance to post. Hey! I'm old and slow dammit!
