Default Sony Owns Funimation Now. Should We Acquire Their Saved Licenses?
So I realize that a change in management or corporate restructure doesn't automatically mean that their old licences won't be renewed, but as a collector like myself, should I take that chance? I don't own the majority of Geneons/ADV's saved licenses that Funimation saved (Welcome to the NHK, Monte Cristo, Air, Kanon, etc) and I'm worried that once those licences start approaching their expiry - Funimation might not renew a majority of them. Detective Conan didn't get renewed, Xenosaga didn't get renewed, and many others.

Despite everyone's gripes regarding their green S.A.V.E. covers - should we start considering them lost licenses?
