Anyone know if there was a Blue Ray release for Final Fantasy Advent Children?

I still have the 2 disc DVD for the movie and just curious if there even was a Blue Ray release at all for the movie?

Not even just this site, just go to amazon, Best Buy, etc. and they have listing to buy it.

Short answer. Yes. There is blu-ray release.

The blu ray is only for the extended version. The original cut does not have an HD release nor do the original (IMO superior) subtitles. Shame.

The extended version is almost a different movie if you've never seen it. In the least, the final battle is very different and more appropriate:

Yep, as everyone else has already pointed out, it's been on Blu-ray since 2009. And it's a different version from the one that was released on DVD; much improved in my opiniyun (while I did enjoy the original cut too).
