fronts M100 FLOORSTANDING SPEAKERS
sides and backs QS8 SURROUND SPEAKERS
center
VP180 CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER
subwoofer power sound audio S300DUAL 15" SEALED SUBWOOFER
emotiva XPA Gen3 7channel power amplifier.
receiver RX-A2060
4k player oppo UDP-203

Can someone explain "4K Upscaling" to me? I bought a Sony BDPS6700 4k Upscaling 3d wifi player.

I assume it is not ACTUALLY 4K, but takes 1080p discs and "boosts" the resolution to fill in the 4k. Am I correct, that this player will not in fact touch an actual 4K disc? I do not own a 4K disc to test.
