Another damn fine Sony UHD release. Picture looks wonderful and lively with the same cinematic look many of the other Sony catalogue releases share. Details on faces appear to look even more sharp and refined than they did with the first MiB movie (which I saw yesterday). The indoor scenes at MiB HQ sometimes did seem a bit overcooked to me though. I almost wanted to turn down contrast a few clicks. Other than that I think this is a real looker.

Unfortunately some of the CGI looked pretty bad, a shame really since the VFX of the first movie held up pretty good on UHD IMO. Some horrible green screen effects are also present during some of the car sequences.

I'm probably in the minority here but I really like this movie. I think it's a worthy sequel to the original. It captures the spirit of the first movie and even though some of the jokes fall flat, I still had a good laugh with this one. Always loved Lara Flynn as the main villain also.

So now that I have seen the first two (which has always been a pleasure on any previous format), I am now up to the task to watch the third one again. I never liked the second sequel. Haven't seen the 3D Blu-ray in years so I'll try to keep an open mind when I pop in the UHD, maybe that'll help me to appreciate it more.
