Every time I go to use the HMV site it just dies on me, making it almost impossible to order anything from them. What used to be a great site has become completely unusable. Last week they charged my card 4 times but never confirmed the order, telling my card had been declined and causing my card to be blocked. Took 4 days for them to reply, saying that they could track 2 orders only (not the 4 my credit card company said had been charged) of £1 and had now cancelled the two orders of an item I'd been told hadn't been ordered at all. No real apology. No explanation for why the mismatch between the orders they had and what my credit card company told me had been charged before they blocked the card.

Today after 3 minutes waiting for a spinner on a site that's been almost inaccessible all day after the payment page I got a "502 Web Server received an invalid response" which is a programming/server error. Have no idea whether I have a placed order or not. Pretty sure that whatever state the order is in they've taken my money and I will now have to spend more time on Monday trying to sort it out. They have now officially become even worse than Zavvi. And that's saying something!

Is the UK 4K identical to the US one?

Currently don't have 4K, but I'm considering this as my first 4K, as the price isn't too bad at Amazon (or HMV).
