Default Dolby Vision- What Am I Missing?

Okay guys and gals, I've had my OLED set for two days. I have a Netflix 4K sub, over 50 UHD discs and numerous 4K demos in both HDR and Dolby Vision, so I'm not hurting for 4K content.

HDR content looks stunning. There's no other way to describe it. With DV however, I'm simply not seeing what all the fuss is about. I've compared the DV and HDR versions of a few titles on Netflix and while DV offers superb colour and clarity over the standard HD versions, (the opening credits for Jessica Jones are gorgeous), it doesn't have that same punch. Perhaps that's the point, a subtle refinement as opposed to the brighter highlights of HDR?

Does anyone agree or disagree? Would anyone be able to provide me with some ideal DV settings? Btw, I'm not trashing DV here, I clearly haven't seen enough DV content to even dare do that, just looking to get a better understanding of it.

I'm also UK based, so unfortunately don't have access to the majority of Dolby Vision content providers.

Many thanks.
