Default Amazon Black Friday on 4k UHD's

So does anyone think the 4K UHD's that are at $19.99 will drop any further? Or is this a max discount for UHD?

Do they ever discount on preorders also?

Im not in the US so can't shop at BB, Walmart etc..

No one can say for sure, but I don't see stand alone UHDs going below $19.99 for a while.

You might see bundles, but a race-to-the-bottom is the last thing UHD needs right now.

They might try to price match BB or some place like that with 17.99 but that's probably as low as they'll go.

I already when ahead and bought MoS and BvS at $20 each myself. Potential $4 savings just isn't that appealing to me personally.

I've been wondering this myself...it's hard not to pull the trigger but we'll see what happens.

Stalker brings up a good point..they'll be a lot more affordable by this time next year. Many of the titles are double dips for me so patience is a virtue...

I'd love to see The Revenant drop below $20

If it's taken nearly an entire year for the launch titles to reach 19.99, and that's for Black Friday... yeah. I agree.

As much as I agree with you, now you see me did hit $13.99. I can see them hitting $15 and that would only be older stuff. The other part of me thinks 3D never really drops in price much. Why would 4K? If 4K does get a price drop it will only be stuff the has been out for a while or if the sequel of a film just got released. (Divergent movies were kind of low for a week)

Hmmm I'd bite for that price. Hopefully Amazon will price match.

I'm in the same dilemma as some others. Most are double dips so they can wait. There are a few I don't have yet and they just aren't low enough for me to buy. However, the Blu-ray versions are being heavily discounted... ugh! I may just get the Blu-ray's at a discount and wait for the prices to drop. I don't have a 4K setup, I am just trying to future proof as much as possible.

Oh look smart guy, BvsS is already $10. Not hard to see this was going to happen. Keep your snark to yourself next time.

I’ve had some luck in random times for finding 4K movies on sale. I got the first Maze Runner for $8 in 4K this year. Paid $16 for John Wick. It just depends. It seems to be random times for sure. I haven’t seen anybody offering 4K movies for Black Friday besides Fry’s though unfortunately. I have the player and movies but haven’t upgraded my AVR or TV yet, but love getting deals on the movies. My Atomic Blonde preorder is almost at $20 now which is exciting. I don’t hope the prices drop too much because that means less people are buying the movies (which sucks! I love physical media!!) but a little gouge wouldn’t hurt anybody. Especially the consumer! 🤓
