Will Best Buy price match Amazon for an out of stock blu ray?

I want to get the 4k Jason Bourne Ultimate collection at Best Buy and have them price match Amazon’s price of 43.49. The only problem is that Amazon is now out of stock for that item, will Best Buy still price match an out of stock item? If I were to buy it from Amazon that would be the price I would be charged so you think they would price match but I don’t know. Thanks.

They don't have to if it's not in stock. It won't hurt to ask but don't be surprised if they refuse to.

I believe I have price match items that Amazon has them out of stock.

Like splintersan said it won't hurt you to ask, the worst case scenario is that they say no, you have nothing to loose here, but you can win something... Price. Match that boxset [emoji2]

Thanks. I will try to price match. I do not even have a 4k tv yet but 43.49 is a fantastic price for the 5 movie set.

I wouldn't rush out and buy it, especially if you don't have a 4kTV, unless you're a big fan. The quality of the earlier titles in 4K was quite lacking. I hear the latest ones are fine but the first ~3 films are in many of the "Worst 4K" top 10's

Well I went to Best Buy today and tried to price match this set but the cashier said we can’t price match when Amazon does not have it in stock. Went home and ordered it thru Amazon.

I've PM'd OOS items at BB before. I just showed the cashier the other retailer's product page on my phone. Sometimes they look closely to check the stock status, sometimes they just look at the price and put it through. YMMV on how careful your cashier is.
