Default Digital Movie Poster

Hello,

I previously used a 40" tv and mounted it vertically(see my HT pictures) to display movie posters. I absolutely loved it! Then we moved and we have a dedicated 12x12 HT room, and the 40" tv is a bit big. So im looking at a smaller screen..possibility 15-27" range. Instead of using a TV and setting it up, i was wondering if anyone has ever used a digital photo frame. SSA, on amazon, has a 18.5 and 21" model which peaked my interest(for reference: https://www.amazon.com/SSA-Widescree...al+photo+frame)

Does anyone have any experience with these? Also what are your thoughts on this vs. a tv?

Pick the right time of year and 1080P 40" hdtvs can be pretty cheap.

A digital photo frame will certainly work, but why limit yourself to something so small?

I do my poster work on a 27" hdtv, and you can simply use the usb jump drive and internal media slideshow.

I think my poster count is pushing 10k, so that also represent a nice work shortcut to having a large poster collection...

I have NEVER thought of using a flat screen TV as a digital poster.....

How do you mount a tv vertically? Never mounted a TV before.

Quite simply:

Wait, I think photobucket is messing with me. Anyway, I'm doing this too, and it's with a simple vertical TV wall mount. Same principle, just mounts lengthwise.

Well I've had quite the productive morning. Downloaded roughly 300 different Hi-Res movie teasers and theatrical posters.

Going to look for some TV's at the end of the month and then going to knock this awesome project out. Cannot wait for the finished result.

Black Friday will have some great deals.

I simply bought a low profile slim mount, and cut off the ends of the horizontal wall mount bar.

Think I found a Sony Bravia 40" on Craigslist. I am having him check the USB and wall mount capability but if thats good to go, should have this baby up and running soon. You have no idea how much you inspired me. This is truly genius!

is this from a single website or are you gathering the images from across the web?
