I don't know if this occurred during the latest update or with the update that updated parental controls, but I have the primary account on my PS4.
I am currently subscribing to PS+. However, my 3 boys have sub-accounts on the same PS4 and they can't play my downloaded games and don't have the same PS+ privileges that I have. In the past, they all had PS+ capabilities and could access all of my downloaded content. Anybody know what's going on, where I have to go and and what I have to do to get it working for them again? |

Well, I just chatted with Sony Tech Support and, apparently, my account on this PS4 had been deactivated. I had to go to Settings > Account Management > Activate as You Primary PS4
Now, here's the weird part. How did my account get deactivated in the first place? I didn't deactivate it. I only own one PS4 and I haven't logged into another PS4 using my account. This is all very strange. Anyway, when I reactivated it as my primary PS4, my kids now have access to PS+ and the downloaded games are no longer locked for them. |

Here's some more interesting news: About 15 minutes after I reactivated it as my primary PS4, I got a message that another PS4 activated it as the primary and that my PS4 was no longer set to primary!
![]() Somebody else must be using my login!!! So, I immediately reset my PSN password using my PC, used my PS4 to log back into PSN using my new password and reactivated it as my Primary PS4. I have not received anymore "de-activating" messages since! It looks like someone else was using my account. That is sooooo crazy!!! |
