Default GadgetFreek’s Home Theater Room 5.2/7.2

Started a couple weeks ago with purchase of 3 HSU CCB-8 speakers and a VTF-1 MK3. After falling in love with the bright crisp sound of these speakers I order 2 more to complete a 5.2 setup. Until they get delivered I have been testing a 7.2 with 4 Definitive Technology speakers that I used in my previous HT.

Equipment: LG OLED65C7P, Marantz SR-5011, Samsung UBD-K8500, 3x HSU CCB-8, 2x Definitive Pro 1000, 2x Definitive SR8040BP, HSU VTF-1 MK3, Martin Logan Dynamo 500.

Nice setup. Welcome to the galleries.

Just a suggestion here, but in the descriptive audio lexicon, use of the adjective "bright" is considered a bad thing. I'd suggest "treble air" and "sparkle" instead.

Please tell me this is sarcasm. Using "treble air" instead of "bright" is like using sanitation technician for garbage man

Freddie, I wasn’t aware that my personal preference in sound was considered a bad thing here. I prefer a bright sound. As much as I like bass in my lows and mids I prefer “bright” high frequencies to be more pronounced in my listening experiences.

As you wish. I certainly didn't mean any offense.

I’m completely joking. I appreciate you Freddie. I have learned a good amount by reading posts from you.
