Id Say Superbowl ad the date for the teaser says 2/3/2019 which is the super bowl.

Super Bowl ad for sure.

I got super excited, because I don't pay attention to sports and had no idea 02/03/19 was the Super Bowl.

But there's no way in Hell any type of TV show/movie sequel to the Big Lebowski would have been able to be filmed and edited in complete secrecy. Unless they plan on announcing an upcoming movie/TV series DURING the Super Bowl.

I have been mildly against a sequel due to how close I hold the original to my heart, but that little clip makes me hope it’s more than just an ad for the Super Bowl!

Well, right I was HOPING for a teaser for an upcoming sequel, but the internet is saying perhaps a commercial for some sort of attraction (maybe a bowling alley)?

There's no sequel, he's just being Lewbowski in an ad. Probably one of the vodka brands (read that some cannabis company had their ad rejected, so it can't be that lol).

Was a fan right from opening weekend in 98. There was only maybe 5 people in the theater and I was the only one laughing my head off.

If this is for a sequel, bring it! If it's just a Super Bowl ad, also bring it!

I'm glad that it is just a commercial. It is definitely cool to see Jeff Bridges reprise the roll again, and I'm fine with that for something like a commercial. That said, I really don't want a sequel to the movie. I doubt that any sequel could live up to the original. I'm not entirely thrilled with the Jesus spin-off.
