The lenticular is limited to 1800 copies, not the 1500 you listed. Anyhow, here's the specs for the release:
Aspect Ratio & Format: 1.78:1 1080p Language: Japanese Dolby TrueHD 5.1 / DTS-HD MA 5.1 / Linear PCM 2.0 Subtitles: Korean / English / Japanese Region Code: A Run Time: 98+164 mins Number of discs: 1 Special Features:
And here's an image of the lenticular effect: ![]() |

Nice - Pre-Ordered! It's already mine!!! Bwah-Haha-haaaa!
![]() So maybe I should sell my Bandai Blu-ray, now? nah. ![]() EMS Shipping is almost as much as the cost of the Blu-ray - total was $59.77 USD. Lol, I only paid $21 for my Bandai Blu-ray. |

Of course back when I bought the 2DVD + CD "Limited Edition" release on Black Friday 2008, I paid $25.30 for it. Since the BD didn't come out until April 2011, and Bandai Entertainment left the US anime business in early 2012, I never saw the need to get the BD of it until it was too late. ![]() |

Hmmm... I'm intrigued. Have you guys ordered through this site before? I'm completely ignorant to a lot of the overseas orders through Korea and Japan, so what's with the regular USPS shipping and EMS shipping? And what's with the whole option of invoice, 'merchandise' or 'gift' declaration for customs? At these prices I doubt there'd be any customs hold regardless of selection, but...? lol I'm so confused.

This is my fourth order through KimchiDVD, and I prefer to use EMS shipping, as it's a bit more reliable and better tracking - and in the case of Lenticulars, I want it quick, and EMS is only 3 days shipping to the US. Regular shipping through the Korean/US postal service is about 12-24 days shipping.
You don't need to worry about the declaration values for Merchandise/Gift stuff if you're in the US - we don't get hit with any Customs for Blu-rays and DVDs... EDIT: Svenge beat me to it... echo, echo.... ![]() |

Thanks guys, I didn't think there were any customs nonsense for blu-rays since I've imported stuff from UK and CA with no problem so the whole customs declaration really through me for a loop haha. I'll just leave it set as 'Send Original Invoice' then. I have no problem waiting a week or two to save that chunk of change so thanks for clearing that up. Lastly, since it seems the only viable checkout method is PayPal I'm assuming they take out the funds immediately?

Disc size: 21.1 GB Video: AVC @ 19.98 mbps Audio: Japanese Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (16-bit) | English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (16-bit) Subtitles: EN / EN signs + songs only In comparison, the JP BD had these stats: Disc size: 37.0 GB Video: AVC @ 36.07 mbps Audio: JP Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (16-bit) | JP DTS-HD MA 5.1 (16-bit) | JP LPCM 2.0 (16-bit) Subtitles: JP Note that all the bonus material on the US BD release was on a separate dual-layer DVD (6.5 GB total), while the bonus material on the JP BD was on the single Blu-ray disc. As such, the Bandai US release was certainly serviceable, if not spectacular. Last edited by svenge; 12-18-2015 at 12:11 PM. |

Is there anything particularly bad about the British disc on Manga (other than it being region B)? I bought that because I, too, missed the American release (it was always too expensive even when it was in print). I remember it looked fine.
