Vudu or iTunes for TV Series (PQ)?

I am interested in getting This is Us if/when the price drops to my buying point.

My question is do you guys prefer Vudu or iTunes when it comes to TV series? I assume they won't port over if I just choose one of these services so I want to make the wisest decision.

Does one service provide better PQ than the other?

I love mostly everything about my Apple 4k TV with the exception of the remote and the fact that if I ever ditch the box I won't be able to access itunes anywhere (well except for my phone which I won't use to watch). At least with Vudu it's available on most devices.
