Extras (i.e., alternate cuts) finally playing in 4K...
Or maybe they have been for a while (since the last firmware upgrade I assume), but I just never noticed...
 Tried playing Deadpool 2 Super Duper Cut from the Extras of Deadpool 2, and it's playing in glorious 4k (the Commentary plays in 4k too...) So, as long as the Extended/Alternate cut was delivered in 4k, it is now playing in 4k! Which may not be too many (tried Hancock, feature is 4k, extended cut is just HD), but maybe the newest movies will at least keep this up to date... |
