I picked up the first two volumes up but was disappointed for that reason. Garagehouse's Trailer Trauma discs are sourced from original collector prints and are much more fun to watch IMO.

Obviously to minimise the sales price Umbrella decided to do a BD + DVD for some of the extras. Should really have been two BD disks with DW2 on one and DW3 on the other then split the extras across the 2 disks. But they obviously thought adding A$5 or 10 onto the price would lose them a lot of sales. I believe in the DW thread there was some some comment that latest pressing has lossless rather than lossy audio. Was that officially confirmed ? If so not seen anything to say they would exchange BDs. I remember years back Umbrella did with the Picnic at Hanging Rock DVD as originally was letterboxed and was supsequently replaced with an anamorphic version. I know they let me upgrade to the anamorphic disk for free. |

THE MAN FROM HONG KONG has terrible compression issues in some of the special features, especially the interviews taken from NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD. It's really not a good idea to cram so much info on one disc. I get that it's about being economical but if the quality suffers then why bother?

I wrote down all the titles featured in the promo, totaled 163 (out of 175, according to the promo...so 12 of them weren't shown?). Apologies if I screwed something up, had to play it at 0.25 speed just to be able to pause quick enough to write down the titles before the video had shot through 5 more of them. So until we get an official list of the trailers featured, this should give a good idea of what we're getting in this one...

You had a lot of work... more than I did when entering the contest.
But at least I won. |

Forgive me if this is a dumb question...but on their site, https://www.umbrellaent.com.au/comin...h-blu-ray.html
It says this: Extra Features: "VHS DELIRIUM - BONUS 95 MINUTE SD TRAILER COMPILE" I wonder what that is? I mean I technically know, of course. '95 Minutes of trailers but in standard definition'. I'm just wondering what the trailers for those will be on top of the 151 trailers in HD... |

Since this release started shipping this week, if anyone receives their copy please share any info you can about that special feature "VHS DELIRIUM".
Since I'm located in Europe, and considering past Umbrella shipments, I'll probably have to wait 2 more weeks or so until my copy arrives, and I would love to know a bit more about this release. ![]() |

VHS Delirium Features 78 vintage trailers sourced from videos featuring movies from the 70's and 80's. With quite possibly the worst compression I have ever seen on a disc here is the list of trailers:
