Good Morning Pro-B,

Do you plan to review this one? I haven't seen it in a while, but I believe the two languages spoken in the film are Italian and Greek, both of which I speak, so the lack of subs would not be a deal-breaker if the quality is there.

Good morning Ted,

Unfortunately, we do not have an Italian (or Australian and Spanish) affiliate for the site yet, so if I reviewed the disc, I won't be able to link it to a specific vendor. Perhaps after the market grows just a bit bigger in Italy in 2010, our site would be able to add a strong affiliate, and I would be able to review some of the better/unique Italian releases.

This would be a great blu ray to get because of the spectacular scenery

Hello movie,

The presentation is far from impressive. I tested this disc a long time ago. Definitely better than the old R2 DVD release, and the color-scheme in particular is far more convincing, but there is plenty of room for improvement.

Hi there pro-bassoonist.

Ah, oh well, I ordered it before I read your post so guess I'm stuck with it now. Wanted it in my collection but was hoping for a very good transfer. Thanks for letting me know what to expect though. I'll just turn on the noise filter a little and bump up a few advanced settings on my tv to cheat myself into thinking it's somewhat HD. It's going to be my last blind buy without knowing how the transfer looks.

Hello pro-bassoonist.
I wanted to ask you, do you experience a frequent low frequency noise in the sound?
I wonder why is that..

Hello filmmusic,

I no longer have this disc with me. As you could see from my comments above, I tested it a long time ago and then sent it elsewhere. I just wasn't impressed. I don't remember how good the audio track was.

Did an English friendly release ever happen? I've never seen this, but just heard a little about it, and it sounds like one I would enjoy.
