yep

while it was not exactly the film of the year it was still a good fantasy romp with some good effects nothing cheap looking and i rather enjoyed watching the 2D version so its kind of sad to know they have cancelled the 3D as i was really looking forward to watching that at home.

..sadly not going to happen now.

wonder if the other 3D releases worldwide are going to be scrapped?

It's supposedly released first in France at the end of the month so we'll see then.

Only watched this movie as a fan of the actors, but I found it kind of boring. It follows every single fantasy cliche and is too derivative.

But it was fun seeing Julianne Moore playing an evil witch.

I love the 3D in this one and the creature design is fantastic. It helps me overlook the bad dialogue and performances.

It's visually appealing but it's just so empty. It kind of reminds me of that Eragon movie.

Did you import the 3D copy? It was cancelled here in the US.

Yeah I have the French 3D blu ray. I'm in the UK but it wasn't released on 3D blu here either.

It is empty but the production values are great and the fx are really well done. As I said before I love the creature design, the whole thing looks like it cost a lot of money to make. It's just a fun switch your brain off fantasy.

I agree, the 3D in this film was quite good. Sure, it may be a derivative fantasy film but I found it to be interesting enough to watch every now and then, I love that they
[Show spoiler]kill Kit Harrington's character so quickly, no more king in the north for this film haha.

It was this film that pretty much convinced me that Jeff Bridges was secretly hiding a stroke after sounding exactly the same in True Grit, then RIPD and then this film.

He does the same kind of voice in Kingsman 2 as well!

LOL, I thought he was just sticking with what inexplicably won him an Oscar. I like your theory better!

They pretty much wasted Kit Harington in this movie.
