I hadn't heard about it, either.

He just made some guest appearances on American Housewife earlier this season.

It really does, more like 7... I loved it and I still miss it, have even watched a few reruns from time to time. I would love to rewatch it all (in HD, so DVDs don't count :P ) before it airs so maybe Netflix will add it back before then.

Sounds like Timothy Omundson has only a small role in the film, since he had health issues when filming started.
Hope they do more movies someday and he can be back for more.

Loved this show, I was however really disappointed with how bad season 8 was, 7 was starting to show its age as well, besides the great finale pretty much each episode was really awful although I did enjoy the Psych musical which I know garnered some hate. Hopefully this will be more solid than s8 was, and maybe we can finally get a blu-ray release for this show?
