I've never heard of it. Sounds more like a documentary than a movie.

Interesting title. Thanks for the info.
From the cover art's empty scenery, looks like he eliminated all the competition already. Hopefully there are a lot of cool 3D battles in it.
If the 3D is strong, this could be good. I see it's Region B only.

Medieval Battle 3D (Region B)

Is there a listing for the 3D quality of this title that I can't seem to find?

I don't believe so.

I do admit to owning this one (picked it up for £1) - it's actually called The Medieval Trip 3D and there isn't much discussion of battling so the packaging is rather misleading. A Hungarian minor celebrity spends some time in a Hungarian medieval village (though never dresses the part) while an Australian-sounding but Russian-serial-killer-looking (he wears black gloves most of the time) historian narrates. The opening titles and the cut-out illustrations throughout the documentary are nicely layered but the live action 3D is just all depth point-and-shoot with not much ever happening in front of the screen despite countless opportunities to use that space. Someone walking into the screen is about as good as it gets.

The best 3D on the disc actually comes with the Azores trailer that autoplays, that's moved right up my watch list, sharks in my living room are much better than this rubbish.

I picked this up from Poundland a few eeks ago, along with a number of other similar 'documentaries'.
Like the others, it's badly shot on cheap prosumer cameras, looks awful, and doesn't offer any real entertainment or educational content. At £1 it was over-priced.
This was just one of the 'jump on the 3d bandwagon' releases.

Yeah, there isn't a 3D blu-ray I wouldn't buy for £1 all in.

The KSM titles often turn up in Poundland, I have a dozen or so but most have remained unwatched.

The Medieval Trip 3D Trailer - YouTube The Medieval Trip 3D Main Title
Azoren(Azores)(english friendly, region free, 3 disc set):

https://www.amazon.de/Azoren-3D-Entd...ords=azoren+3d

review from Amazon.de from Gert Krumbacher, noted reviewer of 3d:

Review especially the technical 3D quality with LG Bluray player and
LG screen (1920: 1080 = 1.78) with polarizing technology, diagonal = 140 cm.
The pack contains 3 BluRay discs:
1. BluRay Disc with underwater footage of moderate quality
2. BluRay Disc with underwater and island mainland recordings
3. BluRay Disc with recordings of the history, geology and culture of the islands

Common to all 3 BluRay discs:

+ Strengths:
+ Aspect ratio 1.78 full screen
+ Stereoscopically photographed
+ Good staggering in great depth
+ Good depth of field: foreground AND background sharp - that's 3D!

- Weaknesses:
- Many poorly lit images seem dull and schmälern space impression
- many repetitions
- Too big stereo base when shooting close up: No merging of left and right image
- Sleepy, too loud companion

I agree with his assessment.

ps Medieval Trip was a pound for good reason. Ha.ha.

I only have the single-disc UK version, which I assume is just Disc 1:

Sadly not.
Unless you consider it good for insomnia. Saying that, I've seen a lot worse than this.

I pikced up APartment 1308 in a moment of madness, and the 3D is mostly all back-to-front in that. NOt sure if it was shot wrong, or if the company got the eyes back to front or something. It's unwatchable anyway. Bloody awful film too.

Yeah Apartment 1308 is an eyesore most of the time although there are some good 3D shots in it.

I'd still probably rebuy it for a quid though lol. Medieval Battle 3D has way better 3D than that and I just like looking at 3D images and footage.

Im struggling to remember a 3D movie i watched a few months ago where the 3D was just ok, but the pictures on the walls all had 3D depth to them as well and i found that very strange.

Like if a picture on the wall was a photo of a person in the foreground and a house in the back , then you would see depth between the person and the house..... It was odd to see.

Just for the record it is Apartment 1303 in case someone is looking for it. Goofnut confirms it was shot in native 3d, using Redcode Raw system, same as Banshee Chapter and Dredd, but reviews are unanimously awful. There's a thread for it here.
