Default Image split down middle of screen?

I am experiencing an occassional invisible "line" down the center of my screen during disc playback. I don't know how else to describe it other than:
The image appears divided/split by this "invisible line"(?)

I am using a oppo 203 into a LG oled 2016.
The issue only seems to happen during disc playback - blu or 4k and only last for a brief few seconds.

I also have an Atv on the oppo input that feeds the LG. I have not the issue happen during Atv playback.

Is this the LG? The Oppo? The cable? (mono hspeed 4k certified)

That's very weird, Bokes; I never experienced anything like that...

To me, it sounds like it COULD be a defective Monoprice cable (I myself just picked one of their 4K high-speed certified cables up to connect my new UHD disc player to my UHD TV), but it's possible it is something with the hardware (I'm running the clone of your OPPO 203, a Cambridge Audio CXUHD, and haven't experienced a "dividing line" on my screen as you describe)…

I hope someone else can help you out with regard to what this could be; did you try swapping out the cable for a new one?

Try a different HDMI port on the tv.

As others have suggested, try another HDMI lead and/or another HDMI input.

Some if not most large 4K displays require two display drivers and sometimes there's a glitch introduced where the driver on one half acts different from the other half so one side of your TV might look brighter or darker or dull. Is that what you're seeing? Or is it an actual line of pixels?
