Question regarding online blogging

does anyone have any information on how to start a blog site hopefully making extra income. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Domain registry: 10.00$
Hosting: 20$/Month


With Google AdWords, you have to have 50 in your account before you check out, and that's going to take a long time. You'll spend way more on the hosting than you will make with adwords. Blogging isn't for money anyways, nobody starts a blog for that purpose. Not enough people go to them to make it worthwhile. When I start mine up, i'm not going to use ads at all.

If you're paying $20/month to host a blog you're overpaying. 1&1 has hosting for $4/month and Site5 has hosting for $5/month.

The cheapest and FREE solution is to sign up with Google's Blogger service and use Google Adsense for advertising.

damn. i tried that already (prostitution i mean) i know some html heck i still have the damn book. how would i charge someone for a shitty site.

I'm just going around telling local business that they could maximize profit if they had a website. I haven't done any yet, but there's one that wants me to.

I just don't know how much to charge.

would the sites you mention above work for hosting on a domain I have already purchased? I bought it through go daddy, so would it have to be hosted through them?

I am thinking about starting a blu-ray related website if any of you are interested in helping with design or getting involved. not in a position to pay you just quite yet though.
