Apologies if this had been asked multiple times already.
Meaning, the HD version I originally had from Vudu that got transferred to my iTunes account via MA. I have a code for the 4K version of that same film, a Fox film at that so I know that can be tricky. Is there a way to make upgrading to 4K easier? Do I delete that film from my UV library? |

The only thing I’ve found with UV codes is that if Vudu doesn’t have the 4K version it won’t flow through to iTunes in 4K. So sometimes it depends on the film whether or not you redeem via MA or your UV library. I’ve got Ghostbusters 1 & 2 in my UV library with UHD rights but because Vudu only has HDX I’m currently stuck with HD in iTunes. |

Have you tried going to foxredeem to see if it gives you the iTunes redemption option?
The HD codes for Deadpool would give an iTunes redemption option, but I am not sure about the 4k. If you are given that option at Foxredeem you would get 4k even if you own it via MoviesAnywhere in HD. |

I have an Apple TV 4K and have no use for the movies on Vudu and only Apple are getting us those movies in 4K for free. I'd love to do the same but heard it was impossible. Last edited by tiger_qc; 06-12-2018 at 11:44 PM. |

You can join movies anywhere with a vpn in canada. You can also register if you are going to a trip in usa. (mcdonalds free wifi lol). You can create an itunes usa account in canada. Simply put a fake address like the campus of apple :
1 Infinite Loop; Cupertino, CA 95014 After you create a vudu account with a vpn, an amazon account etc... for all your lockers. You can also buy itunes usa gift cards directly from amazon.com e-gift cards (email). Canadian codes: Warner bros and sony codes( will port to vudu ( after movies anywhere) if your account is linked with myuv, flixstervideo and vudu. Universal can be redeemed directly in vudu or moviesanywhere Paramount is split code itunes and vudu Fox codes hard tricky since the beginning of moviesanywhere. They will only be redeemed in google play. You must purchase an usa codes. Lionsgate seems to dispatch their movies to : eonefilms, elevation etc... Easier to buy usa code if you don't want 2 accounts (usa itunes and canada itunes) You can buy codes from uvspider, google community (Ultraviolet Digital UV Codes (Buy/Sell/Trade/FREE), or facebook groups exemple : Ultraviolet Digital UV Codes- Movies Disney, iTunes + (Buy/Sell/Trade/Free) |

Has anyone noticed that many movies purchased directly from iTunes in 4K only show up on MoviesAnywhere as "iTunes HD" and then you end up with 2K versions on every single site out there? I've had this happen quite a bit.
For example, I just bought the Die Hard box set on iTunes. The first movie so far is in 4K. It shows as "HD" on Movies Anywhere. I already had Blade Runner 2049 registered from Movies Anywhere from the 3D version, which gives HD. So I bought a gift code and redeemed it myself on iTunes when it went on sale for $10 so my iTunes version upgraded to 4K. Movies Anywhere shows them as two separate transactions, but it STILL says "HD" and not "4K" on the transaction "receipt" and so Vudu, etc. STILL has only the 2K version. Only iTunes for AppleTV 4K has the 4K version (and Vudu has Atmos while Apple is still in beta testing). It also seems that many movies that do finally get a 4K upgrade on iTunes, don't "re-spread" as 4K on other sites with any consistency. My Harry Potter Extended versions of the first two movies got upgraded by Apple to 4K since I bought them directly from Apple (they emailed me that they would give me the theatrical ones in 4K since the extended versions aren't available in that). It never showed up anywhere else in 4K, just on AppleTV. The list goes on and on. Other titles I purchased on Apple show up in 4K (they show as "iTunes 4K" on the Movies Anywhere transaction "receipt" list. I don't know what causes this inconsistency. Is there someone I can contact at Movies Anywhere to correct those titles? |

Bundles don't always transfer in 4K, especially if the bundle itself and not the individual movies is marked 4k. Gifting to yourself does not transfer 4K to MA. |

One question: I already own "Tiger and Dragon" in HD. What if I buy the Bundle "Action 2000s". This Bundle includes "Tiger and Dragon" - will it be 4k in itunes after the purchase?

Yes, you’ll receive an onscreen message saying you already own one or more of the titles and asks to confirm you want to continue.
