Pokemon - Would You Want New Kanto Games?

I've been on a Pokemon nostalgia kick the last few days for some reason and I saw a youtube video and a reddit topic talking about Kanto 3DS remakes/new games. Would you guys buy those?

I don't have a 3DS and don't plan on getting one (not interested in X/Y or OR/AS enough to buy) but if they did a 3DS update of Red/Blue or even did a Red 2/Blue 2 with a new adventure in the region set after Gold/Silver I would definitely buy a 3DS for that.

Being able to access Johto would be great, sort of a reversal of Gold/Silver.

I would definitely buy those. I also bought a 3ds to play Pokemon X and currently Omega Ruby. They are two pretty good games, but a OG reboot would be amazing!!!

I want Red and Blue remakes for next year as it's the franchise's 20th anniversary.

Access to Johto would be great too, just so we can see what Red did with his life between becoming the champion and fighting Gold at Mt. Silver.

Oh and more Sevii islands wouldn't go a miss.

I like the Pokemon but the stories are a bit slow for me until they get to...Y, so I would definitely hope they sped them up a bit.

LOL I hear Generation IV is getting a re-make next to follow-up Shield & Sword. Just went through my 14 boxes in Bank, released a few Pokemon and organized the rest depending on whether I can use them in USUM/UM or XY/ORAS. Will make it easier when I want to build super parties for the beginning of games, make parties for elite 4 grinding loops, etc. Also have 6 games with full or near full Pokedexes that I will need to go through, edit move pools, then decide which ones to move into Bank and which ones to leave in there and just delete. Feels like it's going to be hours of work.

I'm really looking forward to gen IV remake, it's my favourite gen so far with countless hours in platinum and HG/SS. After S/W i played less, even skipped X/Y and OR/AS and only played S/M back when it came out. I would probably do a fresh start, no bank, just play from scratch

Dunno about that, but there is still the 2nd detective pikachu game, that has been revealed last year. I'm pretty sure we will see this game before anything else.

I hope so. Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee are the only time I've had fun playing a Pokemon game in nearly a decade. A Let's Go Johto game would have my full attention.
