I'm all but certain that StudioCanal controls the actual film and it's remastering, since they were heavily involved in making it and Sony had nothing to do with it beyond distribution, through Sony Pictures Classics. That being said, I don't believe that it has been revisited for remastering at all, beyond a questionable "Director Approved" HD master from years ago and it is certainly due for a proper remastering that will make it look as it should. Given that, I doubt that it is on SC's to-do-list at this time.
