Default Hat off to Bill Hunt

Bill Hunt has done an outstanding job covering the Blu-ray developments and discussion from the beginning and especially the last week with so very much going on.

In addition, as you probably remember, he was tortured at AVS back in 2006/2007 for simply coming out and stating HIS OPINION to his readers on HIS WEB SITE that the format war was bad and why he was supporting Blu-ray. He simply stated what he believed in and what he thought was the best advice to his readers. HD DVD fanboys - who seemed to form almost into a cult - starting obsessing Bill Hunt if you recall - calling him names, saying he was completely wrong, and perhaps more disturbingly - many explicitly stated that he had no right to state his opinion and that he should be "neutral" and not take any side. Fast forward in time, we have people now selling $20-30 HD DVD players on eBay and people trying to sell off 200-300 HD DVD disc collections.

The bottom like is he was right (like many of us) the entire time and they were wrong.
