I've been getting an issue lately where a loud, nasty sound comes out of the speakers out of nowhere during a movie. Only seems to happen when watching blu-rays, it doesn't seem to happen when watching TV or playing video games. Pausing the movie or jumping tracks usually fixes the problem. Also seems to happen more with the PS4 than the PS3.
Is this a blu-ray player issue? Is there a possible fix for it or am I looking at a worn out laser? |

if your saying it happens only when using the game consoles, then I'd say it's likely the receiver.
try putting the game consoles into different inputs and run them and see if you are getting the issue with them. if you are, then it's the receiver. keep us posted. |

It happened for a quick second not during a movie, but during the PS3's boot up sequence.
It also happened during a scene from a movie but backing up and replaying it didn't make it come back, so it seems a little random in when it happens. |
