So I guess we'll probably start seeing some more of those OOP Studio Canal SF titles coming from Kino.

I wonder if they'd do a UHD of something like Superstition or The Seduction.

Kino has one more former Shout Studiocanal title coming up (that we know about). The likelihood of it being Superstition is low but still within the realm of possibility. Its chances went up slightly when Imprint announced their edition, though. I'm hoping it does get a bump to 4K. It's one of my all-time favorite horror films.

I would guess the other one is Road Games, but who knows. I'm surprised KIno didn't grab all of the SF SC titles, even if they were just planning refreshed BD releases of them.

I'm too lazy to search for the info but I seem to recall Indicator encountering an issue with Road Games where they were limited by a less than ideal element. Unless the OCN (or a better source) has been found since then, I would count the film out.

Wasn’t the Shout released advertised as a new 4K restoration by StudioCanal? Hopefully that’s not what we are getting here…

When StudioCanal opened back up for direct licensing in the US, they had the habit of occasionally giving labels older masters by mistake ("Vice Squad", "Dead of Night", "Pool of London", "Kind Hearts and Coronets" and "The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum" are just a few examples).

They used the internegative. The Indicator master looks much better than the old Shout disc, but there wouldn't be much point using it for a UHD since it's still 2 generations removed from the camera negative.

I mean even without HDR it should be a massive upgrade. The blu was from a DVD era master.
