Default Newbie Receiver question about Headphones and surround

I have a receiver newbie question. I can’t use a home theatre because I have kids so I’m currently using headphones plugged into an old Harman kardon receiver which support the « Dolby Headphone » surround mode.

I find it excellent and immersive without sounding weird like the surround modes of some gaming headsets where the sound often sounds like in a bathroom

. My question: do all newer receivers (that support Atmos and dts:x for exemple) have some kind of surround mode for headphones, or was it just a feature of my Harman Kardon AVR144 receiver?

I'm looking to eventually replace it but wouldn't want to lose that feature because it's the next best thing to having speakers in the room.
