Have checked out The Wrong Door (1990) on the IMDb. Quietly intrigued. Are Visual Vengeance's titles available at places like Deep Discount? I have looked at past threads started in the North America sub-forum for other Visual Vengeance titles.

Many thanks for your help/assistance with this query about Visual Vengeance. I agree about the newly commissioned artwork (you can't accuse the artwork of being dull with the use of colour for example).

Heartland of Darkness I remember reading about before in the Visual Vengeance thread but forgot about it afterwards. Then recently, while reading about another film (it might have been on a Blu-ray review website), Heartland of Darkness was mentioned.

Would love to see a trailer or a scene from this or something - everything sounds good on paper, but the fact it was shot Super8 has me kinda wary...

Has anyone here who decided to order a copy of Visual Vengeance's release of The Wrong Door received their copy? And if so, how is the transfer and audio?

Picked up the first pressing slipcase with all of the stickers and poster. It’s a nice package. That fun video store aesthetic. As far as the transfer, it’s a nice representation of the original Super 8 elements, good filmic feel, and the sound is stable and loud enough. Some of the music is a little reverby but that’s just the source.

Thanks for posting your comments/observations on this Visual Vengeance release. It would be the first release of theirs I'd be getting. It was the transfer and audio (especially the transfer) I wanted to hear about.
