Didn’t see a thread for this one so I thought I’d start one

What a great little gem. Just got this in the mail the other day and can’t wait to see it again. I have fond memories of this little classic growing up. Looks to be a bunch of cool extras too. I’ve been loving these Mill Creek Benji releases. Keep ‘em coming!

Anyone else get a slipcover with there’s? All the other Benji movies had one

Didn't realize this was out already! I've always wanted to see this movie ever since I had a certain VHS (can't remember which) that always played the Benji Christmas trailer in the beginning. I'm glad I can finally add it my collection.

This is probably easily worth the $6 it's at on Amazon, since it has a good amount of extra material on the DVD according to this site's review. So I don't want to dissuade anyone when I mention that this is on Netflix right now. I just watched it for the first time. It's pretty goofy and fun. Honestly, I'd really like the Rifftrax guys to do a track for it.

Mine did not have a slipcover.

the back cover said 1hr 34mins so i bought it because i wanted to see the full movie, not the "24 mins" on netflix. so i bought the blu-ray to find out that i was ripped off. i am missing an hour and ten mins. every retailer shows its 120 mins or 2 hours so i come to this site and its saying 25 mins. so why is the blu-ray missing 80% of this movie?

There is no 1hr and 34 min version of this. It was a Christmas special that aired on ABC, and the full length of it is just 25 minutes. That 1hr and 34 mins may be the total runtime with all of the other shorts, and trailers included.

I blind bought this along with the first two Benji movies. Fry’s Electronics carries them in store.

I was browsing through Netflix trying to find something to watch, and came across this. I really enjoyed it. I really loved the holiday setting of Switzerland, and the set designs, were great. The story was pretty funny, and also very inventive with the reindeers in a birdcage, the different elves, and costumes for different countries, etc..If I had one knock, it'd be that that "multiplicity" song at the end goes on a bit long and outstayed its welcome, but overall this is a solid Christmastime watch.

I think I'll be adding this to my Christmas rotation in the future, and will be picking up the BD now as well.
