Oddly enough, this hasn't received a thread yet, though i'm pretty positive why.

In terms of the movie itself, all I know is that this a much shorter version of the film and a much longer cut under the "Coffin Baby" title was released internationally two years earlier.

Also, why hasn't the Tobe Hooper film this is a "follow-up" to received a blu-ray yet?

because lionsgate owns the tobo hooper remake is why it isnt on blu yet. as for as toolbox murders 2 i picked up the blu for 10 dollars all i can say is the gore and blood effects are great

I also paid roughly $10 for my copy of the TBM2 blu-ray.

At the moment i'm watching the earlier "Coffin Baby" cut and holy crap. It's almost a different movie.

There's like an entire drawer load of scenes completely missing in the TBM2 cut, including a rather funny murder sequence involving the killer and some gangstas. Why that scene was left out of the Scream Factory cut boggles my mind.
