super smash brothers brawl
littlebigplanet
gran turismo 5
metal gear solid 4
killzone 2

i don't see any 360 games even being in the running next year. those 4 huge ps3 titles should slaughter the way anything looks/plays on the 360.

In terms of how many people will buy it and think its the best thing evar: either Metal gear solid 4 or God of War 3 (also Grand Theft Auto 4, thanks for the reminder derek)

In terms of how much I'll enjoy it: probably Gran Turismo 5 if it actually does get released

none of the games mentioned so far, it'll be a sleeper

too much hype behind the games, only being set up to fail and disappoint

i dont know bout you but MGS never disappoints and GTA always exceeds.

If FF13 comes out this year... Then it's a toss up between the two.

both games release too early in the year for anyone to remember. unless somehow mgs delivers an all time great kind of experience, somehow i doubt that tho. thats not to say the games will suck by any means, simply stating none of these will get goty

True. i think this is the only GTA that isn't an october release, but all the other GTA's were and i was still playing them untill the following october. hell i still play san andreas from time to time.

Is Resistance 2 even due out next year? That seems unlikely to me, but maybe I'm wrong, er, hopefully I'm wrong.

Little Big Planet or HOME will hopefully be tops as far as gameplay. GTAIV will rock for sales, and hopefully gameplay, but I'm doubtful at this stage.

Rock Band 2 perhaps? If they keep releasing songs I don't know why they would need to release a new game, but we'll see.
